In the final week, we were documenting everything we built in these past 15 weeks. We also recorded a basic gameplay video illustrating how the game works. We finally concluded our week with a live demo explaining how the game was fabricated.
Since all the levels and segues were built separately, now it's time for integrating all those subparts to a complete game structure. Along with this,we also started adding SFX and VFX to our levels to enhance the UI of the overall game.
We finally completed our game's basic layout and structure for each levels. It can perform all the necessary functions that are required in each level.
At this stage, we were done with 70% of our game. We finally made a list of spells we will be using for the game in the last level.
By this time, we were completely done with Levels 1 and 2. We had also started working on the basic layout for Level 3.
Since it was our first major level, we took our sweet time building this one!
We finalized our Level 1 by this week. Along with this, we also started preparing for our next milestone, Level 2. We began searching for Level 2 assets and also began fabricating our own prefabs from this point.
After deciding a basic layout of what the game looks like; what levels it will have, etc, we moved on to start building Level 1 of our game. Collected relevant assets. Set up an environment.
We formed our incredible team and then started discussing about what game we should build. Along with that, we also started familiarizing ourselves with Unity Hub.
